GOP is Hiring + Obama Spend-O-Meter

I was perusing the ads on the sidebar of tbb when I saw this one:

At first I thought is was a joke because of the discrepancy between the type of people featured on the ad and the fact that it is an ad for the GOP. I find it very surprising that a party that is being run by rich white men, has decided to gear this campaign towards minorities, youth, and women.

Upon further investigation, I clicked the ad and was directed to the GOP‘s national website. And the surprise continued to unfold. Not only did I discover that I could buy a plush elephant from the GOP Store:

(Yes. Those trunks are fully erect.)

But I also discovered that it seems like Obama is officially public enemy number one. Check this image from the front page of the site:

Yes it seems in accordance with their calculations Obama is going to be a very spendy president if elected. Hmmm… wonder what he has to spend money on….. oh yeah… they tell us here. Guess they just don’t want the rich white men to have to pay for these things since Obama is going to do away with tax breaks for them.

    Your attitude towards conservatives is quite unfair. I may disagree with liberal policies and ideas, but I give liberals enough credit to recognize that many of them are well-meaning and have good intentions. On the other hand, it seems that you not only disagree with conservative policies and ideas, but imply that all conservatives as selfish, greedy and heartless. Well, you may be prejudge... that is, be prejudiced against conservatives all you want, but by doing so, it means that you are less open-minded and less fair than most conservatives I know.

    One last note, I think it's sad that you feel it's ok for you to judge people based on the color of their skin.

    funny how the republican party is supposedly rich white men but has been dominating elections and got over 100 milllion votes in the last presidential election,,,i had no idea over half the voting public in this country were rich...thats great news!! ..or u are a moron,, or both...

    obama is a huge spending twat,.,, all u have to do is listen to what he says,,moron.
