Body Modification of the Day: The Game of Life

Maybe it is just my pessimistic mood today, but I love this tattoo. I really admire her courage to make such a profound statement on her chest. She got the tattoo in Kalamazoo, MI. This makes the tat even better to me. The Midwest has such a tendancy to get caught up in the American dream. In the process people get chewed up and spit out. This is all my interpretation, but being from Kentucky, I do have some idea of what life is like in the good ol’ Bible Belt.

Thanks Modblog!

Update:

There is a difference between the tattoo above and the one below. The Candy Land tattoo portrays more of a fun innocence. I like them both, however, the Life tattoo is more powerful.

  • That's an amazing tattoo! I would not have the guts to put that front and center, but I immediately connected with the message and the reminder that everybody has the option to play a different game if they choose. I like the 3D game board but other than that I always found that game very boring and I prefer Pictionary.

I have a 80's cartoon sleeve very colorful and eye catching. It brings lots of attention good & bad. But I LOVE IT, and had a good artist here in jacksonville do the work! I love the candyland tats above....so beautiful and the color...I'm in aaaaaahhhhh!

The young lady with the life tattoo is a very close and loved friend of mine, people have a tendency to over look the meaning behind this tattoo and what strength and perseverence it takes to endure some thing like this. Love ya Nik
